Pfeiffer Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Pfeiffer Library is to provide collections and services to meet the diverse information, curricular, and research needs of the University's communities of learners. In fulfilling its mission:

  • The library will select, acquire, organize, maintain, and provide access to materials and information resources appropriate to the undergraduate and graduate programs of the university.
  • The library will provide intellectual and physical access to information resources and collections in a variety of formats and will provide assistance in their use.
  • Library staff will teach students, faculty and staff to retrieve information effectively and evaluate it critically, in support of Pfeiffer University's commitment to educational excellence and lifelong learning.
