Education books usually have call numbers beginning with L and are located on the main stack level in Misenheimer.
Children's Books: In the catalog, children’s books will have “Juvenile” or "Newbery/Caldecott" listed as the location. They are on the 4th stack level in a separate section. In spite of what the catalog might tell you, the books’ call numbers begin with ZZ! To find a children’s book, write down the call number from the catalog, go to the ZZ section on the 4th stack level, and look for your call number WITHIN the ZZ’s. Newbery and Caldecott award-winners are in a separate section on the main floor. Honor books are shelved in the main juvenile collection, but are noted as honor books in the catalog.
