netLibrary

The full text of over 19,000 books is available electronically through netLibrary. netLibrary e-books include scholarly, reference, professional, and popular titles. Collections are strong in the areas of business and economics, technology and engineering, sports and fitness, literature, and the social sciences. Just click on the netLibrary link and you can search for books by title, author, keyword, and/or publisher. netLibrary books are also in Pfeiffer's online catalog of books.

You can check out books from netLibrary for a period of 4 hours. In order to do so, you must first create a personal netLibrary account. You must do this either from a computer on the Pfeiffer University campus, or off-campus via your password for off-campus database access (go the the library's Off Campus Access page to learn what your password is). Once your account is created, you can access netLibrary from anywhere.

netLibrary may prove useful to you in your research by expanding our collection. It is also an option for reserve readings for your students!

Here is the powerpoint presentation given on Misenheimer campus 1/29/01. It gives an overview of netLibrary's features and how to use it. Please note, netLibrary has changed their layout slightly since this was done!

Here are instructions for using netLibrary. (This is an Adobe Acrobat file.)
