The following are libraries near our distance education sites that
you may use for research. Some
of these libraries may require you to purchase a membership in their
Friends
of the Library to borrow books; Pfeiffer will reimburse you for this
cost.

Asheville
D. Hiden Ramsey Library
The D. Hiden Ramsey Library is located in the center of the UNCA campus
at One University Heights, Asheville, N.C. 28804-8504. The library houses
close to 410,000 volumes , approximately 50,000 government documents, and
several hundred audio tapes and videotapes.

Mountain AHEC Health
Sciences Library
The MAHEC Health Sciences Library(HSL) offers reference services including
bibliographic database & Internet searching and instruction, access
to over 6,000 books, 2,000 audiovisual, and 500 journals. It is located
at 501 Biltmore Ave.

Duke University Library System
The Duke University Library System includes several branch libraries,
including the Medical Center library, the Fuqua School of Business Library,
and the William R. Perkins Library. Together, these libraries house over
3 million volumes.

Memorial Library at NC Central
The James E. Shepard Memorial Library is located on the NC Central
campus in Durham at 1801 Fayetteville St. The library houses close to 400,000
volumes, and 6 CD-ROM titles.

Greensboro
The Jackson Library
at University of North Carolina Greensboro
The UNCG library is located in the center of the UNCG campus in Greensboro.
The library holds over 2,300,000 items (books, journals, documents, microtexts,
maps, electronic materials) and subscribes to approximately 5,500 newspapers,
periodicals, and other serials.

Moses H. Cone Health System Library
The Moses Cone Health System Library is located in the West Wing on
the ground floor of the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. The Medical Library
provides an "open" collection which may be used for self study by the community.
Materials may not be taken out of the library.

The University Library at University of Economics Prague
The University of Economics Prague is located at Winstona Churchilla 4, 130 67 Praha 3.
Raleigh
D.H. Hill library
The D.H. Hill library is located on Hillsborough St. on the North Part
of the NC State campus in Raleigh. Connect to The
Campus Map. Building number 47 is the library. Anyone may check out
books by joining the Friends of the Library.
