Statistics offers a one-stop shop with nearly
80 statistical databases. They collect and
analyze public data, purchase proprietary data, and
add data from RAND's vast research efforts. Databases range
from Economics (employment, wages, foreign
trade, airline operations, etc.)
to Population/Demographics (populations,
projections, immigration, mortality, etc.)
to Education (enrollment, finances,
teacher salaries, etc.) and more (Health and
Socioeconomic, Government Finance, Energy and
Environment, and Community). We have this on a trial
basis until May 1 - give it a whirl and let us know if you want it! Introducing PLUS:
Pfeiffer Library Universal Search
PLUS allows you to search
our catalog and ALL of our databases at one time,
within the friendly Ebsco interface. There is also the
option of searching subject-based subsets of
databases, or you can select individual databases to
search. So, if you want to search our catalog,
WorldCat, Ebsco Academic Search and JSTOR at one time,

Click here for a full list! Our Ebooks are now part of Ebsco Our 20,000 ebooks,
previously available via netLibrary, are now available
via Ebsco Ebooks. All titles are now readable via the
familiar Ebsco interface, and some titles can be
downloaded to computers or handheld ebook readers
capable of running Adobe Digital Editions software
(pretty much any reader except for the Kindle). All
ebooks are accessible via our online catalog or by going
to Ebsco and searching the ebook database. Off-campus
students using our online catalog will need to make note
of titles and access them via the Ebsco ebook database.
