award-winning series American Experience and Frontline?
They are part of the larger collection of videos that are currently
available online at no charge from Pfeiffer's website. The collection
contains around 250 videos, which are delivered to your computer as
streaming media. This collection greatly enhances Pfeiffer's video
offerings. Below are answers to questions you might have - if you have
others that aren't answered here, just contact the library!
Q. What do I need to watch the videos? A. A high-speed Internet connection (no dialup) and Flash Player 9, which is downloadable from the video site in case you don't already have it. Q. How do I find them? A. All of the videos are in Pfeiffer's online catalog, with links to the streaming media. You may also access the full list here. (This link is also available from the database list on our website.) Q. What if I'm off-campus? A. Provided you access the videos from our catalog or a link from our website, it will work like any of our research databases. You will use the same username and password you use to access databases from off-campus. New Database - BioOne We now offer the BioOne database, which contains the full text of over 80 scholarly journals in the biological sciences. Take it for a spin!
