Need reliable flu info?
Try EBSCO's Influenza Evidence-Based Information Portal!

Now available: EBSCOhost Mobile & interlibrary loan directly from EBSCOhost

If you have a smartphone, you can now access EBSCO databases through their new EBSCOhost Mobile interface. Perfect for research on the go! EBSCOhost Mobile is now listed as a choice in the dropdown menu on our databases page. And while you are in EBSCO, if the article is not full text and clicking "Check for full text availability" doesn't find it, you can request the article via interlibrary loan directly from EBSCO - and it will even fill in the article information for you!

Introducing...JSTOR!

JSTOR is a database containing the full text of core scholarly journals across all major disciplines, from the first issue until 1-5 years ago (no current issues). We have purchased the initial core collection, containing 119 journals in 21 disciplines. This will be an invaluable resource for Pfeiffer. We would like to thank Blake Martin and the Advancement Office, the Friends of the Library, and all of the donors who made this possible. We hope to add additional JSTOR collections in the future!

The Misenheimer campus library is now fully wireless throughout!

New Database: American History in Video

American History in Video is a collection of documentaries, newsreels, and more, all in streaming video. Currently the collection includes material from the History Channel, Bullfrog Films, Universal Newsreel, United News and more. By the end of the year it will also include material from WGBH, PBS and California Newsreel. Some have transcripts available, which can be read side-by-side with the video as it streams. The collection covers all aspects of American History.
